I've thought a lot about this,
I've tried it your way,
But I have since realized,
That my life is my own.
So you see...

This facade I have been living,
Has been made up by you,
You think I'm smart, sweet and all things good,
All things everyone wants to see,
And all I gotta say is...
I just wanna be me!

Me,
The person who God created me to BE
Me,
The person who has so many dreams and hopes
ME,
The person who has yet been allowed to be set free,

This letter of sorts,
Is just to inform you that I no longer care,
About anything the world may say about me,
Just because I chose to be
