Whats been up
Hey,
Well lets see...Third quarter FINALLY! At the end of this quarter I'll get this cool proficiency thing in baking:) And next fall is bakery management...scary:P
My cat went missing last month, and last week Sadie our neighbors boxer got really ill and passed away:( There hasn't been any sign of my cat..So she is gone for good. I've gotten over it mostly, but I'll still miss the lil rascal who drove me nuts...
Schools going alright this quarter, I really enjoy baking, and getting to see my friends everyday is awesome as well hehe:)
I've been in early morning last week and this week. Tomorrow is the last day of it, thankfully!
Oh and fighting to stay awake while driving is NOT good.....
Since about Sunday I've been a lil sick so been trying to get over that..and now trying to shake this cough (had for a couple of days) and I hope it doesn't hang around my cough back in Oct. 07 did!!!:P
OoO And I've gotten to spend time w/ my sister which has been awesome! And did I ever mention on here that I'm going to be an Aunt come August..? :) Yep my sister is expecting a baby boy!:)

Hey....
Hey,
Well its been awhile since I've last blogged so decided why not waste some time and give a quick recap of whats been happening the last couple of months.
Schools great,
Been spending some time w/ my grandma:)
Drove in the snow, almost hit a semi and got stuck in a ditch:P
Turned 19,
Was a group member of 1 for a week....
Love school and all my friends there,
I've been stressed more so lately than ever in my life before...
Will only be the girls group leader until someone else comes along (hopefully soon?)...
Have had a rotten week...a rotten stressful week. My cat has been AWOL/MIA since Tue night....Wed was the best day. Other days? Thursday and Friday had some good parts but also some very bad parts....And I know I am being evasive and non descriptive on purpose.
And to everyone who doesn't think I'm online as much I should be, well I am online, to be honest alot more than I should be.
I'm in college, I'm dealing w/ a lot of issues right now and trying not to be depressed which is hard. Really hard right now...

New Years
Hey,
Well Christmas went very well! It came very fast and left us just as fast!
My grandma came out, and so did my sister and bro in law. And My best friends family came over later:)
We also had a White Christmas for the first time in YEARS! Last year we got a lil bit of snow, but not much. This year holy cow! 8"! And some ice too! IT was outragus and I know people in higher elevations got a foot or more! It is just crazy! It is melting fast now. Which is nice. I hope we don't get any snow in Jan/Feb! I have to drive to school! Haha! Though I highly doubt my mother would let me anyhow haha. :-)
I'll post some more pics of the snow on my myspace, and try to get some up on facebook as well:-)
Life is going...alright:-) I can't complain too much. I am growing up lil by lil, and that in itself is scary/exciting!:)
Ok...SO to round off the New Years I decided to post somethings that I've done this year, and how I've changed...Just to catch you all up:-)
Things I've done,
1, I turned 18
2, Hung out w/ friends and family:-)
3, Applied for Clark College and was accepted.
4, Worked at fireworks stand for 3 days.
5, Housesat
6, Babysat
7, Went clothes shopping:D
8, Finally saw Fort Vancouver!
9, Went to 2 country music concerts :)
10, Helped out w/ church stuff..
11, Had fun @ girls group:)
12, Went swimming in Salmon Creek and the Pond @ the commons.
13, Had a mud fight w/ a friend...I think I lost:P:P:P:P
14, Some friends and I threw a Surprise Bday party for one of our friends:D
15, Applied for the baking program at Clark and low and behold got in!:)
16, Got my license!
17, Got a car that I still can't drive haha!
18, Got into my first auto accident:P
19, Met lots of very cool people @ Clark and have made some pretty cool friends:)
20, Discovered, cranberries do not = craisins, and stir faster when making pastry cream...becareful so that you don't measure stuff into a a bucket meant for cleaning instead of the reg. buckets for weighing stuff in:P Oh and becareful when making Lemon Poppyseed Scones....It gets annoying after the third time of making them and messing up;) And don't....;);) ok So I have learned TONS! At school...
21, Am learning how to study better, and to take MUCH better notes!:)
23, Thought Pre-al would be a breaze....It was.
24, I made pretty decent grades my first quarter at college, while taking 20 credits! Beat that!:)
25, Got to have Gabby hang out LOTS during the last week and a half, thanks to the snow haha:):)
Ok, so while I may not have changed much, but heres a short list of things that I have changed in the course of the last year,
1, Grown more self confident.
2, Discovered over the course of the past couple of years, that I am kinda pretty (hope its not vain to say so :P )
3, Am able to have a conversation with guys (not counting my bros).
4, Discovered that I actually do like talking with guys (agan not counting my bros).
5, More able to start a conversation with people
6, Not as shy as I use to be
7, My language has changed abit...sadly....:-/
8, Realizing that I am growing up, and while that I will always love my parents and will want their advice most of the time. I am realizing that I need to stand on my own two feet, I am an adult, and that I plan on acting like it. While I may mess up, I may goof off at times, I want people to remember that I am NOT perfect.
But that I am trying to grow up, grow more mature, and still trying to be myself. Its hard at times. But such is life.
And I hope my parents know and believe that I will make the right choices because of what they have taught me. And that I will try not to mess up too much:-)

Wow ok so I haven't posted anything lately...my bad:) But if you have been following my status updates on facebook well you probably already know what I have been up too:)
For those of you who have not been following well....Here it goes.
I am now in the Danish Station. Its umm ok. The store rocked, early morning ok, cakes and chocolates pretty cool:)
I didn't join the nap club, I just went to the library and did some hw and facebook/myspace when I was in early morning.
The quarter is almost over. I will have to study like heck for the theory final or I'm screwed/doomed/dead/etc. Yeah not very good.
Math is still math...just found out that i WAS suppose to be checking my answers in the back of the book whoops. Haven't been, was wondering why I kept getting them all correct...my teacher thinks I've been checking everything! So now I have to go talk to her and figure out what to do:-/ Not very good. Blah. If I fail this math class I will be so ticked you won't believe it.
Lets see....this quarter, I've locked my keys in the truck twice, got a locker and lost the lock keys, so had to have them break off the lock and put a new one on. Burned myself at home/a friends house 3 times since the quarter has started and at school burned myself a lil bit once. But that wasn't anything big to meantion.
I'm glad the quarter is almost over, you can totally tell that this college is a seculiar college. The language and their choice of topics haha....smile, shake head, keep on working...
Tonight I made 2 pies, once is a cherry, the other is an apple. They are for the dinner thing my aunt (moms sis) is having tomorrow. See her sons, are both going to be out of the country, one is in the army the other is an electrician. The one in the army is going to Korea, the one who is an electrician is going to Iraq. My aunts only kids, so will be lil sad for her and my uncle:(
So this dinner will be the last time we will see my cousins for a year or so is what I understand. The one who is going to Korea might be home for a break in July? But not sure...
Right now I am yet again procrastinating math hw...no one is online I don't think, and no one has called me. I lead such a boring life it sucks. Oh well....time to get some math hw done:P

Life....
Hello anyone and everyone who will ever read this.
To catch you all up on my SUCH exciting life;P drum roll please....
I had my first auto accident last night. Driving home from school, in front of Fred Meyer...yeah rear ended someone. Their car has scratches on it, my brothers truck has a smooshed front fender thingyamob. Ugh. I am fine, just a lil stiffness today but I'll be ok. Come on having my wisdom teeth pulled out hurt worse!!:P So yes I just got my license a month ago and already my insurance will sky rocket up. So much for that safe driving program! But such is life...I'll survive. I always do. Someday I won't...but than it will be good because I will be in Heaven and Heaven sounds like such a nice place :-) (Don't worry Barb, I am still planning on living till I'm a 115! tehehe)
Yes other than that minor accident...school was great this week! In Baking, I am no longer in breads, I survived breads, I am in the Store station now and really really love that! Its so much fun! I don't know why people hate it so much, tis fun!:) You get to make cookies, bars, quick breads, and serve people. Sadly I'm only in this station for one more week than I am in the early morning station and have to be @ school no later than 6am. And that means waking up at the freakishly unheard of hour of 4am the first day or so just to see how long it takes me to get up and ready to go and how long it takes me to get to school. The only nice thing about having the early morning shift, I think I can park basically anywhere. Which would be nice:) Closer to Gaiser than being way out in left field....And the early morning station gets off between 11:30am-12pm. So that means I have 2 1/2 hours before my math class which will mean either hw...or finding out where the napping room is in health services..:P Maybe I should join the nap club! I can sleep my way through that club:P:P (Seriously, they do have a nap club!)
Oh yeah in baking, I got a name tag. I know, I'm so special. I got a name tag yep...:)
And the cafeteria food sucks. Sorry cooking students, but it does. Although the salad is pretty good, and sometimes the main dish is ok. But yeah...oh well at least it is free!
Math is math. Checking answers is confusing. Didn't in homeschooling now I have to in college. Sucks, but such is life. I don't think I will be taking a math class next quarter?? Maybe a cake decorating class though! Twould be fun to take that w/ some of the baking students:) And the teacher rocks! :D
Hmm....this week I got a binder and page protector sheets and covered my 'formulas'/recipes finally...Its pretty cool:) Need to finish adding pics to WORD and than print it off and that will be my front page of my binder:D
What else to let you all know about....my cat is still alive, driving me nuts as always. That cat. She is bi polar I swear. Yesterday just holding her and she reaches up and scratches me on my nose! Dang cat....She is mean!:P She can be nice sometimes, but wow when she is mean she is mean. Black cats...lil demons!:P ;) She is the first thing I got my dad to agree to thats 'evil' haha;)
Well anyways, I need to get going...I am procrastinating finishing up math hw...muhahhaha....too bad college doesn't have a class called 'Procrastination 101' LOL
